Anna is lovely blonde Aussie and the founder of Nutrition Journey, a nutrition concierge service. What the heck does that mean? It means that she and her staff will help clients design a nutrition program that meets you exactly where YOU are in your Nutrition Journey.
Just tell me what to eat!
I’m an LA #beautyboss and run around a lot throughout the day. I also have a lot of events and since I’m based in West Hollywood, I’m pretty social. Like many of you, it’s easy to get overwhelmed with decision fatigue.
There is soo much information out here and lots of nutrition choices. Paleo? Juice Cleanse? No Carbs? WTH? So when Anna and I did our first consultation, she asked me a lot of questions about me and my lifestyle.
Do I eat out a lot? Yes.
Do I cook? Kinda.
What do I like to eat? Most things except fennel and raisins. Blech.
Do I have a NutriBulletRX? Now I do. You get the point.
She then customized a plan JUST FOR ME! No cookie cutter stuff here, and they tweak it every couple of weeks to keep things interesting. She then laminates it so I can stick it on my fridge and put the whole thing in a binder with the recipes. It takes all the thinking out of it for me. It also makes grocery shopping a lot easier (my faves: Pavilions, Trader Joe’s and Sprouts).

Uh oh … I’m going out. Now what?
I have been eating at home a lot more thanks to these mapped out menus. But, I do love the option to go meet my friends for dinner or whatever. With Anna’s service I can send her a link to the menu and within 24 hours, she (or one of her staff) will get back with smart choices for me. I LOVE THAT. Total VIP concierge service.
Nutrition RX for stress
Stress is a b *** and wreaked havoc on me recently. I got a terrible case of hives … ugh. It was so uncomfortable and everything I Googled cited food as potential cause. Even though Anna was on vacation in Australia, she took the time to help me figure out a plan that would lower the histamines in my body and now … I have smooth skin once again. She came up with a whole list of foods to avoid should my stress get the better of me again and a WHOLE MONTH of a food plan to get me back on track.

So those are the lifestyle and health benefits that I’ve experienced. I’ve also dropped my blood pressure and have a lot more energy to get through my crazy days. AND one of the things that I’m really excited about is that I’ve lost almost 20 lbs since working with Anna. I do adhere to the Good American philosophy and do believe that beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, ages, etc but it has been really nice to drop weight, 2 jeans sizes and feel healthier.
Another menu that Nutrition Journey designed for me recently was an event/photo shoot slim down. This was a nice way for me to feel a little more confident for a recent photo shoot. Hop over to her blog in a couple of days to see a sample day from that menu!
