This wall is famous. IG models, tourists, experiences on Air B&B – everyone needs a good shot on the Paul Smith pink wall. Here are 4 tips to help you get the perfect shot:
- Get there early. Not only do you want to avoid the crowds, but you will deal with fewer cars.
- IPhone only. You may want to kip the huge lenses and stick with iPhones or simple cameras. Things may have changed – but the last thing you want to signal is that this is any type of commercial shoot. Same advice goes for the rooftop of Restoration Hardware.
- Think Pink. Or rather, think about what will pop on pink. This dress from Rent The Runway is a good example because this navy and polka dots shows up on the pink.
- Look across the street. There’s another wall at the Carrera Cafe across the street that often has a wall that rotates its look. In fact, you may want to bring a change of clothes to get as many shots as you can while you are in West Hollywood.
